Abstract

A variable pitch screw propeller, wherein the blade root is screwed into a threaded sleeve, the latter at its base, has secured thereto a flanged annular member, the sleeve portion of which is of smaller diameter than the root carrying the thread and acts as a journal for a foot bearing. At its base, there is secured by screws u a flanged member t the sleeve portion s of which forms a support for a foot bearing r. A hard sleeve x may be disposed between the blade root extension and the sleeve s.
