Abstract

THE Siebel Fh104A is in approximately the same class as the British de Havilland Rapide and Pcreival Q6; but is faster and higher powered than cither although it has considerably less passenger space, particularly than the former. It is, however, a development of the medium‐powered feeder‐line aeroplane which is being given considerable attention both on the Continent and in the U.S.A. The use of the higher‐powered vee‐eight and radial air‐cooled engines supplies these machines with the slightly greater power needed to give them a performance directly comparable with the large machines in service with the regular air lines. The manufacturers, Siebel Flugzeugwerke Halle K.G., have designed the machine for use as a luxury touring aeroplane, feeder‐line type, mail aeroplane or for military communications.
