British Standard Specifications: Revised Requirements in Brinell Harness Testing—Direction of Rotation of Machine Tool Wheels and Levers

Abstract

The British Standards Institution has recently issued a revision of B.S. No. 240, relating to Brinell Hardness Testing. In this revision a number of amendments has been made in the requirements relating to the manner of carrying out the test, the principal among which are the following:
