Abstract

In a retractable landing gear for aircraft a cantilever strut carrying a wheel for ground contact, a sleeve swingably mounted on said aircraft within which said strut slidably engages, means for sliding said strut with respect to said sleeve, and means for constraining the end of said strut to a predetermined path of movement during sliding thereof with respect to said sleeve.
