Abstract

THE Perth is the latest Blackburn flying boat adopted by the Royal Air Force. Designed on similar lines to the well‐known Iris, the first of which was produced in 1926 and of which subsequent development types have appeared during the ensuing six years, the Perth is the outcome of experience accumulated during a considerable period of specialisation in the production of coastal defence aircraft.
