Abstract

IT is a common failing for the ignorant to mock at what they call the “jargon” of the professional or technical man. The reason for this is, of course, obvious. There is nothing that infuriates the uneducated more than meeting with something they cannot understand; though one would have thought that familiarity with the phenomenon would produce a more philosophical attitude of mind.
