Spanish Trade Unions and Their Role in the Economy

Abstract

Research into the role of labour in the transition to democracy, the emergence of free trade unions, the development of a new industrial relations framework and the participation of trade unions in the “consultation” process between government, employers and labour on a wide variety of economic and social issues.
