Abstract

The Federal Government of the United States is the world's most prolific publisher. How is the international online specialist going to acquire the publications needed from this immense and proliferated assortment? This paper attempts to describe and classify the types of online databases which are available and to survey in greater depth some databases which access exclusively those documents published by the U.S. Federal Government.
