Abstract

The Industrial Injuries Joint Authority in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 12(3), 14(7), 15(1), 19(4) (as amended by section 5(5) of the National Insurance Act 1966), 78(2) and 81 of the National Insurance (Industrial Injuries) Act 1965, and the Secretary of State for Social Services in exercise of his powers under section 16 of that Act and Schedule 6, paragraphs 3, 4 and 5, of the National Insurance Act 1969 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following regulations, which contain no provisions other than such as are made in consequence of the said Act of 1969 and which accordingly, by virtue of section 10(1) of that Act, are exempt from the requirements of section 62(2) of the said Act of 1965 (reference to Industrial Injuries Advisory Council):—
