Abstract

COPPER Corrosion by high speed hot water. Over a period of five years, a Swedish corrosion committee has received reports of some 30 cases of damage to hot water pipes of copper, caused by the excessive velocity of the hot water. No similar cases of damage have been experienced with cold water pipes.
