Abstract
Corrosion is a major consideration in the petroleum industry, and in this series the authors discuss methods of controlling this menace. Parts 1 and 2 (May and June 1955) described how various sections of a refinery are attacked by corrosion, and discussed some of the equipment and metals that are used to resist these attacks. In this, the concluding article, methods for treating corroded parts are described.
