Centralised distribution in the non‐food sector

Abstract
Although centralised distribution is firmly established in the food sector, non‐food retailers have been slower to pick up on the system, due to the more diverse needs of the products that they sell. Different non‐food retailers obviously have different needs from their distribution systems.
