Horace Plunkett

Abstract

This year marks the centenary of Horace Plunkett. He was born at Sherborne, Gloucestershire, on October 24, 1854. He died at Weybridge, Surrey, on March 26, 1932, and was buried at Byfleet alongside the flying men who were his friends and some of whom had taught him to fly at the ripe age of 75.
