The Index Bibliographicus
Abstract
BIBLIOGRAPHIES are essential tools to all searchers after knowledge. Scholars themselves are much too neglectful of such aids, yet the best kinds of bibliographies give clues to sources of information and save the scholar an enormous amount of time and trouble. To the working scholar the most valuable are the current bibliographies, because they indicate at short and regular intervals the most up‐to‐date treatments on all sorts of subjects. Without such guides the scholar and researcher cannot keep up‐to‐date in the literature of his subject.
