Informational Observation Theory: An Extension to Two Discrete Sets of Events
Abstract
Gives an analysis of the consequences of the limitations inherent in observation processes PA and PB on the joint, marginal and conditional entropies of two discrete sets of events A and B, observed by means of PA and PB. Up to now, unlike the continuous case studied in a previous article, the Shannon theory seemed to apply without any problems. Demonstrates that this is not true in some particular situations. Some properties of dissymmetry, absent from the Shannonian model, appear.
