HOSPITAL CASE RECORDS—EIGHT YEARS ON

Abstract

The unsatisfactory state of medical case records in British hospitals and major problems of content, design and handling are described. Significant improvements in the present system depend on clinicians themselves recognizing these problems and assuming sufficient administrative control to effect their solution.
