Orbotech announces major InSpire-9000 AOI system orders in Spain, Japan and Taiwan

Elbasa has placed an additional order, for its fifth InSpire-9000 automated optical inspection (AOI) system, for use in its Esparreguera, Spain production facility. With this order, representing a cumulative investment totalling over $2.5 million dollars, Elbasa has become one of the largest single-site users of Orbotech's newest generation InSpire-9000 AOI technology in Europe.
The company also received a major order from Gold Circuit Electronics Ltd, totalling approximately $6.0 million in value, for multiple InSpire-9060 automated optical inspection (AOI) systems and VRS-4L series verification and repair stations to be utilized in their new printed circuit board manufacturing plant in ChungLi, Taiwan.
In Japan, Toppan Printing Co. Ltd placed two orders totalling approximately $2.55 million in value, for multiple InSpire-9060 and PC-Micro II automated optical inspection (AOI) systems and VRS-4L series verification and repair stations. These systems will be utilized in Toppan's Niigata, Numazu and Asaka manufacturing facilities in Japan.
Finally, Honeywell Electronic Materials' Advanced Circuits Group have placed an order totalling approximately $6.9 million in value for multiple Vision Blaser-AP automated optical inspection (AOI) systems to be utilized at Advanced Circuits' printed circuit board manufacturing facilities in Minnesota and Wisconsin, USA.
