Frontline PCB Solutions, an Orbotech Valor company, launched its universal Electrical Test Manager software, an advanced module of its flagship CAM system, Genesis 2000 at Productronica.
Enhanced with a wide assortment of automated DfT (Design for Testing) tools, and drawn on an intelligent ODB++ database, the new software increases board testability and significantly slashes lead time to moving probes and bed of nails tests.
Working with virtually every type of ET equipment, the software is enhanced with a powerful contour-based netlist analyzer, efficient adjacency algorithm and 3D fixturing analysis and optimization.
STAR 1000, Frontline's archiving and smart data management system, is now enhanced with a multi-site architecture option enabling data sharing between any number of remotely located STAR servers.
In the multi-site STAR module users can link many STAR servers and retrieve data from multiple revisions at multiple remote sites. The STAR multi-site solution provides a method of sharing data between several STAR servers.
Users at any of the linked servers can acquire revisions from any STAR server in the network and download them to their own computer. Use of the STAR multi-site solution is transparent from the user's point of view.
