Excellon Automation introduces Uniline driller/router with autoload

Keywords Drilling, Excellon

Excellon Automation have announced the release of the Uniline driller/router with cart autoload. The expansion of this precision driller, to handle precision routeing applications in fully automated mode, reinforces the Uniline 2000 single-spindle product line, and provides users with the capability to handle prototype and first article applications on the same machine.

With the Uniline now adding routeing capability, Excellon fields multi-spindle and single-spindle driller routers (Mark VI and Uniline), and a full complement of dedicated routers with the Kennard line, acquired just over a year ago.

The Uniline driller/router uses an air bearing spindle to drill/route panels up to 24in. * 28.5in. (610mm × 724mm), handling router bit sizes with a shank up to 0.125in., and drill diameters up to 0.125in. This machine utilises Excellon's patented sliding pressure foot for greater precision and 120 tool TMS is standard.
