Michael A. Abebe is currently a doctoral student at the Department of Management, Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL. He earned his MBA in Management from Eastern Illinois University at Charleston, IL. He has co-authored and published a number of articles on strategic alliance, leadership and supply chain management in different journals, including Management Decision, Journal of Work Place Learning and Industrial Management. Barry R. Armandi

Barry R. Armandi is a Distinguished Teaching Professor at the State University of New York – Old Westbury and Chair of the Management, Marketing, and Information Systems Department in the School of Business. He has provided strategic management consulting services to companies nationwide, including American Express and AVIS. He is an accomplished author and speaker and has received numerous awards for both his teaching and research.

Umit S. Bititci

Umit S. Bititci is a Professor at the University of Strathclyde, and also the Director of the Centre for Strategic Manufacturing (CSM). As a management professional, consultant and an academic he has over 20 years of experience working with a wide spectrum of UK, European and Asian companies on business transformation and improvement projects. As the director of CSM, he has been responsible for a number of European and UK funded research and development programs. Bernard Marr

Bernard Marr is one of the world’s leading experts on strategic performance management and balanced scorecards. He has worked with and consulted for many leading organizations including Accenture, Astra Zeneca, BP, DHL, Fujitsu, Gartner, HSBC, NovoNordisk, the Home Office, and Royal Dutch Shell. Having started his academic career at the University of Cambridge he is today a Research Fellow at the Centre for Business Performance at Cranfield School of Management. Daniel J. Rowley

Daniel J. Rowley is a Professor of Management and formerly Department Chair at the School of Business at the University of Northern Colorado. In addition to his teaching experience, Dr Rowley has worked at various businesses in management positions and is the author of numerous books and journal articles. He received his PhD in Management and Business Policy from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Herbert Sherman

Herbert Sherman is a Professor and Program Coordinator for the Business and Accounting Program at the Brentwood Campus of Long Island University. He is a former editor of the Journal of Behavioral and Applied Management and the current editor of The CASE Journal. He is the author of several books and numerous journal articles and cases on strategic management, marketing, and business ethics.

Alan D. Smith

Alan D. Smith is Professor of Operations Management at Robert Morris University, located in Pittsburgh, PA. Previously he was Chair of the Department of Quantitative and Natural Sciences and Coordinator of Engineering Programs at the same institution, as well as Associate Professor of Business Administration at Eastern Kentucky University. He holds concurrent PhDs in Engineering Systems/Education from the University of Akron and in Business Administration from Kent State University. He is the author of numerous articles and book chapters.

Willy A. Sussland

Willy A. Sussland is a consultant to management on issues concerning strategic and organizational effectiveness. He has held ascending line positions with multinationals and was on the professional staff of an international consultancy firm before setting up his own practice in 1995. He has lectured postgraduates on strategic management at the University of Geneva, and led the postgraduate program on world-class management at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Lausanne. He is the author of Connected – A Global Approach to Managing Complexity, a co-author of The Essentials of Logistics and Management, and contributor to several journals.
