William H. Swanson has assumed responsibilities as chairman of the Raytheon Company board of directors. He replaces Daniel P. Burnham who retired from the company. William became chief executive officer on 1 July 2003.
William's new title is chairman and CEO, Raytheon Company.
Former US Senator, Warren B. Rudman will remain in his position as lead director of the Raytheon Company board of directors.
