ASP version of Impresa for Victorville Aerospace

Avexus Inc., a provider of software solutions for the management of after-market services operations, recently announced that Victorville Aerospace LLC (VAL) has signed an application solutions provider (ASP) agreement to license the use of the Impresa after-market software solution.

Recently founded by former executives of the BAE Systems facility in Victorville, CA, USA, VAL made the decision to license Impresa based upon their success with the software while at BAE. Representing the first delivery of Impresa via an ASP model, Avexus will provide VAL with a hosted version of the software and all of the associated system implementation and support services. Victorville Aerospace will use Impresa as the foundation for all maintenance, repair and overhaul operations at the Victorville facility. Signed to help aircraft maintenance organisations schedule, plan and manage aircraft maintenance and modification tasks, Impresa provides VAL with efficient, extensive control and analysis of its workflow and the ability to streamline costs through strong planning and scheduling of manpower, material and tooling resources.

Offering an ASP version of Impresa, Avexus now enables smaller MRO providers with limited IT resources to take advantage of a powerful software solution for scheduling, planning and managing all functional areas and resources for aircraft maintenance and modification.

"The Impresa solution had already proven its ability to effectively manage the complex operations at the BAE Systems MRO facility, so it only made sense to choose a solution that was not only working, but working very well," said Ron Stotz, President of Victorville Aerospace. "Victorville Aerospace is an extremely lean MRO organisation, and Avexus's ability to offer Impresa a full functionality via an ASP model will be critical in helping us to maintain our low overhead."

"Impresa provides Victorville Aerospace with the flexibility to handle both their current and future needs as they grow their business at the North American maintenance hub for commercial passenger aircraft," said Andrew Dumke, Avexus Chairman and CEO. "With a strong customer base and widespread support from the surrounding community and the management of the Southern California Logistics Airport, Victorville Aerospace is well positioned for success."
