Third consecutive FAA award

Bombardier Aerospace informs us that its West Virginia Air Center in Bridgeport, West Virginia has been awarded the U S. Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Aviation Safety Program Diamond laurels for the third consecutive year.

The highest level award presented under the Aviation Safety Programme, the Diamond recognises a commitment to maintenance training and upgrading of skills. This year, 243 maintenance technicians at West Virginia Air Center and two airline line maintenance facilities at Asheville, North Carolina and Machester, New Hampshire, were presented with medallions for either improving their formal education or improving their trade skills.
