Keyword: Michell Instruments

As part of its ongoing programme of expansion Michell Instruments, the European manufacturer of hygrometry devices, has appointed Andrew Stokes and David Leonard to its board of directors, as technical director and finance director, respectively.

Andrew Stokes has been with Michell Instruments for nearly 20 years and has previously fulfilled a number of roles, most recently as head of the company's technology department. As technical director, Andrew will be primarily responsible for all aspects relating to the design and development of the company's product range. In addition, Andrew will be involved in controlling both the provision of engineering support to Michell's internal manufacturing department and the ISO 9000 accredited quality system. Andrew has a wealth of experience in manufacturing and calibration.

Since joining Michell Instruments six years ago, initially as production manager, David Leonard has further developed his expertise and, prior to his appointment to the board, held the position of director of operations. As finance director, David will be directly responsible for financial strategy, control and administration.
