SI Pressure Instruments, manufacturers of pressure calibration equipment, has supplied a PC6 complete calibration kit (CCK) to the Cranfield Aerospace Aircraft Engineering Group. Cranfield Aerospace works on a wide range of projects including initial feasibility studies and the installation of aircraft and control systems.

The PC6 CCK is used at Cranfield Aerospace's avionic and instrument workshop and aircraft hangar for calibration of test equipment used-to support aircraft servicing. It is also used for fault diagnosis and equipment calibration on aircraft systems.

Commenting on the PC6 calibration solution, Ray Crawhurst, Chief Avionics Engineer at Cranfield Aerospace, said, "The PC6 CCK replaced an outdated pressure calibration kit. The kit is ideal because it is easily transportable and has improved accuracy over the previous equipment. In addition, SI's SI-Cal software means the digital readings can be downloaded to a computer for data analysis."

The Aircraft Engineering Group undertakes engineering to support new designs, modifications and conversions to both military and civil aircraft.
