NYSE: TRW has appointed Doug McIldowie as vice president, human resources. Doug replaces Peter Thorp who retired in June after 39 years with the organisation. As vice president of human resources, Doug is responsible for all human resources and personnel issues world-wide, encompassing 60,000 employees in 11 countries.
McIldowie joined TRW in 1990. His most recent position with the company was vice president, human resources, TRW Seat Belt Systems in Washington, Michigan, USA. Prior to this assignment, he held human resources positions in several TRW businesses in Germany, Spain and the UK.
