Racal Recorders appoints MD

Racal Recorders has appointed Jim Park as its new managing director. With more than 25 years in the telecommunications industry, he brings a wealth of managerial and commercial experience to the post, particularly in the field of computer telephony integration (CTI), which is at the core of Racal Recorders' business. Prior to joining Racal, he held the post of head of Mitel Systems Integration (MSI) as well as a variety of senior management positions in his 15 years with Mitel Telecom Ltd. During this time, he was instrumental in the successful growth of Mitel's switching business, formulating and implementing a sales strategy providing year one growth of 19 per cent. Before joining Mitel, his early career was with Siemens and British Telecom.
