BASF's new program to promote cool-coloured coatings in construction

BASF's Industrial Coatings Solutions business, Southfield, Mich., has announced the “Cool Colour Challenge”, a new program designed to not only promote cool-roof metal coatings in the construction industry but also showcase BASF's expertise in matching “cool” colours.

BASF's Cool Color Challenge was introduced at the Metalcon International show in Chicago, 4-6 October, 2005. The challenge asked suppliers of metal-roofing products, who are currently using conventional metal coatings but are interested in converting to cool coatings, to submit samples of their “non-cool” colours for matching in BASF's ULTRA- Cool brand of technology. The challenge was open both to BASF customers and to suppliers that are not presently using BASF coatings.

More information about the program is available from BASF's Customer Support Center at 800/758.2273.
