Parker Hannifin has published a free 80-page catalogue detailing tube fittings and accessories for fluid instrumentation applications, based on the company's single-ferrule CPI design. This approach claims tangible advantages over the common dual-ferrule system, including fewer potential leak paths, higher tolerance of thermal shock, and the near impossibility of miss-assembly though ferrule mix-up.
The publication (Plate 3) provides designers with an easy-to-use product guide combined with useful engineering information including a report detailing assembly and remake procedures, and a gauging procedure to verify correct assembly.

Compression tube fittings are available in both metric and imperial sizes, and in an extensive range of configurations. Using a graphical index grouped by component category, selecting the right part from the choice of some 2,000 individual components is made easy. Technical data pages contain engineering diagrams with full dimensional data. Additional information includes a useful visual sizing chart for ISO and US threads and tube ends.
Standard fittings are available in 316 stainless steel. Other options include steel, brass, aluminium, nickel-copper, Hastelloy C276, alloy 600, titanium and Carpenter 20.
