With increased demand for smaller quantities of blasting abrasives from a diverse range of industry sectors, Scangrit, with headquarters in Grimsby, is expanding its distribution network to include centres in Aberdeen, Glasgow and Southampton.
Scangrit reports that its decision to expand the distribution network is in response to the increasing demand for smaller loads and part of its aim is meeting customer requirements.
Mark Graves, general manager for Scangrit, comments: "Our aim is to provide a comprehensive service to all our customers and, by strategically placing the new centres, hopefully they will benefit more. It also means that customers can have their small loads delivered at a very competitive price or even pick it up themselves."
