All-change at Joseph Ash

Keywords Joseph Ash

All Joseph Ash galvanizing divisions are now to carry the company's name. Six of the eight sites had previously operated with localised names, in place prior to the re-structuring.

The plants affected by the name changes are in Hereford, Bridgend, Southampton, Walsall, Netherton and London.

The company's specialist small-part galvanizing division, Albion 2000 Galvanizers in Oldbury, will continue as previously, enhanced by its £2 million investment in automated plant.

The newly-formed group will be further supported on all technical issues by Joseph Ash Galvanizing Technical Support, providing full-time advice to divisions and customers alike.

Brian Finch, marketing director of Joseph Ash Galvanizing, said:

Over the past few years all divisions have undergone a detailed restructuring and investment programme including staff, plant and support services to ensure we are in the best shape to provide the very best in service as we move into and beyond the year 2000.

With these programmes largely completed it seemed appropriate to further confirm our commitment to galvanizing by bringing all of our divisions together under one trading name, thus providing total and consistent support to all customers throughout the UK.
