In his new role he will have responsibility for sales and technical engineering support for Sandvik's standard range of stainless steel wire and welding consumables and, in particular will be seeking to develop new business opportunities for duplex stainless steel and other special material grades in the chemical, petrochemical and offshore industries.
He has extensive experience as a fabrication and welding engineer, following a time served apprenticeship in welding and holds a City and Guilds qualification in Construction Engineering.
