Doefer’s web site provides detailed information on its: Corporate Profile; Core Competencies which include advanced technologies, factory automation, press systems, tool & die and transport systems; key markets of aerospace/defense, automotive, building products, consumer, electronics, energy, fiber/textiles, healthcare, and heavy equipment; news/events; careers and a client portal.

This is a well organized and well laid out web site that provides an excellent introduction to the company and its capabilities. The site visitor would also benefit from seeing specific case studies of challenges/solutions, along with possible videos and pictures.

Automation and Mechatronics Research Group at the Georgia Institute of Technology

Automation and Mechatronics is one of ten research group areas at the George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Tech. The research varies from fundamental research in control theory to the conception, design, and prototype evaluation of innovative mechatronics systems and applications to automation.
