Title: Method and assembly for cleaning solar collectorsApplicant: Innovent E V Technologieentwic (DE); Engel Oberflaechentechnik Gmbh (DE)Patent number: EP2093523Publication date: August 26, 2009

Abstract

The arrangement has a hand-held unit, which is connected with a portable supply unit via connecting lines in an energy and medium guiding manner, where the arrangement is designed in a portable or stationary manner. The supply unit has a radiation device and an energy and precursor releasing device, where a cleaning jet is generatable by the radiation device, and nano-porous silica-based conservation is produced by the energy and precursor releasing device. A drying device is provided in form of a blower. An independent claim is also included for a method for cleaning of solar collectors.

Title: Assembly, method and device for maintaining gas turbine bladesApplicant: Lufthansa Technik AgPatent number: EP2014413 (A1)Publication date: January 14, 2009

Abstract

The method involves passing a gas-turbine blade by one or multiple grinding machine or machines with the aid of a computer-controlled robot. A stored movement process is designed to convert a blade from a previously determined statistical mean wear state to a previously determined design contour. The contact pressure of the gas-turbine blade on a grinding disk is measured and is taken into account in the movement process of the robot such that the desired design contour is achieved irrespective of the initial contour and wear of the grinding disks. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement for the execution of an optimized contour re-creation method.

Title: Positioning device for positioning a patient, particle therapy assembly and method for operating a positioning deviceApplicant: Siemens AG (DE)Patent number: EP2080477 (A2)Publication date: July 22, 2009

Abstract

The positioning device has a patient-supporting device, on which a patient is supported. A robot arm is provided with multiple movement axes, with which the patient-supporting device is positioned. The positioning device is shifted in a manual operating mode, in which a position of the patient supporting device is changed in a manual manner. Independent claims are included for the following: an irradiation device with a particle source for producing particles; and a method for operating a positioning device for positioning a patient in a medical diagnostic or therapy device.

Title: Temperature sensor assembly and method for its productionApplicant: Freudenberg Carl KGPatent number: EP2063242Publication date: May 27, 2009

Abstract

The arrangement has a temperature sensor that is arranged at a front side end of an electrical cable covered with an insulator. The temperature sensor is connected electrically conductive with electrical cable and is enclosed by a protective cap sealed of elastomer material. A front side open edge of the protective cap turned away axially to a base of the protective cap is connected with the insulator of the electrical cable sealed in a force fit and/or form fit and/or material-fit manner. The protective cap has a thickness from 1 to 4 mm. An independent claim is also included for a method for production of a temperature sensor arrangement and a protective cap.

Title: Method of securely attaching a sensor in a motor vehicle and appropriately designed sensor and motor vehicleApplicant: Volkswagen AG (DE)Patent number: EP2060447 (A1)Publication date: May 20, 2009

Abstract

The method involves transferring a marking component of a sensor, particularly pressure sensor from one position to another position visibly different from the former position. The two positions of the marking component are used for documenting a progress of an assembly of the sensor. The sensor is locked when the marking component is transferred from the former position into the latter position so that the sensor is not disengaged from the vehicle without transferring the marking component again in the former position or without destructing the marking component. Independent claims are included for the following: a sensor with a mobile element; and a motor vehicle containing a wall with a hole.
