PTC receives $2.1 million Pro/ENGINEER order from Sharp corporation

PTC, a leading provider of collaborative product commerce (CPC) solutions, announces it has received a $2.1 million order from Sharp Corporation for pro/ENGINEER software and services. The manufacturer will expand its current implementation of Pro/ENGINEER across the entire company to achieve further competitive advantage.

"We've been able to significantly advance several product projects by working with Pro/ENGINEER from PTC", says Eiki Kida, vice president/division general manager in Design Systems Development Center, Production Technology Development Group of Sharp Corporation. "By expanding deployment of Pro/ENGINEER, we expect to see further competitive advantage and design productivity enhancements".
