Sahel migration policies hinder climate adaptation

The conference brings together regional governments, the UN, civil society representatives and major donors to discuss the region’s multifaceted crises. The UN estimates the region’s humanitarian needs at close to USD2bn. Addressing climate change and its impacts is one of the key areas of focus at the conference.
