Abstract
The worlds of computing and telecommunications are full of buzzwords and acronyms. A few of these are self‐explanatory; most of them are useful shorthand for the “insider”, but incomprehensible and unnerving for the rest of us. TAPI is such a term. Any idea what it stands for? If you do have, you are almost certainly “one of them”. If you do not, read on!
