Burton Group Zero Coupon Bond

Abstract

Discusses specially tailored financing as applied to the Burton Group, and deemed to be the most innovative structure devised in 1992. Examines the benefits to the issuer and the benefits to the put option investor. Concludes that structures applying many of the same techniques employed for the Burton Group will become increasingly the norm.
