Secretarial Services Improvement
Abstract
Discusses the findings of a project undertaken to propose an interim scheme to bridge the gap between largely manual secretarial work and a more technologized approach. Considers work values determined under MTM 1 for current organization, potential savings, the revised organization, distribution of duties, and how the production and administration units should work. Asserts that the introduction of the interim scheme should be carefully planned, and that it is important to keep track of technological change in order to prepare for it.
