Handled with care

Abstract

Describes the parts handling system used by Rover for engine components. Discusses the reasons for the choice of system, delivery schedule, and the function and specifications of the pallet and carrier systems. Concludes that the systems meet Rover′s needs of total quality, minimum work‐in‐progress, damage‐free handling, and are proving reliable.
