Abstract
This paper outlines some of the common failings, failures and abuses in the use of evidence. Evidence is important for the identification of problems for preventative efforts, effective decisionāmaking and implementation of measures but theory and its rigorous testing, is crucial to the intelligent and informed collection and analysis of data.
