New Publications
Abstract
In this issue, we look at how a multi‐agency partnership project in the north west has developed culturally‐sensitive employment services for black and minority ethnic clients ‐ a group frequently under‐represented in mental health work rehabilitation programmes. The National Service Framework for Mental Health lays explicit duties on mental health services to support their clients' vocational goals, yet it is not always clear to statutory agencies how to go about this. We also profile a new publication from Kings College, London, which suggests a range of strategies for health and social services to address this issue. Finally, we draw your attention to an online ‘mapping’ of social firms and a new email based user‐led research forum.
