Researching risk issues in the 21st century
Abstract
Documents a joint venture between PricewaterhouseCoopers and the London School of Economics with regard to changes facing risk management. Chronicles that risk management is in its infancy, but that there are things that can be counted, measured and put away with banks and insurance companies to the fore of that. Maintains that some forms of vision/strategy is needed and a knowledge of what is wanted from risk management. Sums up that risk management needs to provide a sharper focus on the business – through which to view the business.
