Abstract

Profiles the accessibility of information from any computer at the University of Wisconsin. States that the building of a common hardware and software infrastructure has allowed the development of menu systems which combine a variety of systems into one seamless program. Cites the web as the key to this and shows how this is available to any user without consulting different indexes and lists. Provides examples of search results produced on this system.
