Interlending between academic libraries in France – A review

Christine Deschamps (Works for the Ministry of National Education in Paris and is involved with the development of libraries in France. From 1984 to 1987 she was Library Director at the University of Paris. She was co‐founder of the European Association for Health Information and Libraries. She is currently President of the French section of the European Community Action Plan for Libraries.)

Abstract

Describes interlending activities in French academic libraries. Explains their use of new technologies including electronic document delivery and electronic mail. Charging policies are discussed and a list of specialised resource centres is provided.
