Recent developments at CrossRef
Abstract
Provides an update on the latest CrossRef developments. CrossRef is now four years old and has reached critical mass in terms of members, digital object identifiers (DOIs) deposited and use of DOIs in reference links in scholarly journals. CrossRef has changed its fees over the last year and is implementing new services to ensure that DOIs are widely disseminated and used to improve access to content to end‐user scientists and researchers.
