Abstract
Purpose
The study is interested in knowing “the role of the organizational structure as a mediating variable of the relationship between the information technology and organizational communication”.
Design/methodology/approach
The study was conducted in several service companies, and the study adopted the questionnaire as a basic tool for the data collection on the practical side, as 267 opinions were surveyed, in addition to conducting personal interviews, and the normal distribution of data was tested, analyzing, describing and diagnosing study variables, testing correlations and determining direct effects.
Findings
Findings show that there is no direct and significant statistical impact of information technology on organizational communications. Whereas there was a positive, direct and statistically significant impact of information technology on the organizational structure. There was also a positive, direct and statistically significant effect of the organizational structure on organizational communication.
Research limitations/implications
This paper is restricted to the role of the organizational structure as a mediating variable of the relationship between the influence of information technology on organizational communication.
Practical implications
As part of the practical implication, the paper suggests the need to increase support and attention to the importance of information technology in service organizations in order to increase coordination and organizational communication and achieve a high ability to explore and exploit ideas.
Originality/value
Apart from the fact that several companies were engaged, the organizational structures of these companies were engaged too to examine the impacts of Information technology (ICT) on organizational communication.

Abstract
Purpose
The internet creates ample opportunities to start a mobile social commerce business. The literature confirms the issue of customer trust for social commerce businesses is a challenge that must be addressed. Hence, this study aims to examine the antecedents of trust in mobile social commerce by applying linear and non-linear relationships based on partial least squares structural equation modeling and artificial neural network model.
Design/methodology/approach
This study applied a non-linear artificial neural network approach to provide a further understanding of the determinants of trust in mobile social commerce based on a non-linear and non-compensatory model. Besides, a questionnaire was distributed to 340 social commerce customers in Malaysia.
Findings
The conceptual framework for investigating trust in mobile social commerce has various advantages and contributions to predicting consumer behavior. The results of the study showed there is a positive and significant relationship between social support, presence and unified theory of acceptance and use of technology2 (UTAUT2). In addition, UTAUT2 has fully mediated the relationship between social support, presence and trust in social commerce. Finally, the results concluded the relationship between UTAUT2 and trust in social commerce would be stronger when the diffusion of innovation and innovation resistance is high and low, respectively.
Research limitations/implications
The current study provides a novel perspective on how customers can trust social m-commerce to provide real solutions to managers of encouraging e-marketing among consumers.
Practical implications
This paper shows how businesses can develop trust in social m-commerce in Malaysian markets. The findings of this study probably could be extended to other businesses in Asia or other countries. Because trust in social e-commerce has a dynamic role in consumer behavior and intention to purchase.
Originality/value
This study provided a new perspective on mobile social commerce and paid more attention to an investigation of such emerging commerce. The originality of this study is embodied by investigating an integrated model that included different theories that presented new directions of trust in mobile social commerce through social and behavioral determinants.

This book provides cases and empirical studies that deal in depth with the current situation, challenges, solutions and future strategies after technological development of tourism and increasing interest on smart destinations from a responsible perspective, for readers with an equitable interest or involvement with the organizations in inquiry.

Green tourism and ecotourism have close meanings focusing on environmental factors and are sometimes related to rural tourism in general or a type of ecotourism itself. These forms emerged due to the concerns to protect the environment, and greater consideration has been given to tourism development and the notion that it should be approached carefully in light of recognizing its impacts.
The thematic concepts of green and responsible tourism raised questions about the definitions of both notions and their nexus of sustainability. Thus, the current chapter looks for an overview to understand green and responsible tourism, their emerging, definitions, practices and their role in the current scenario in the post-pandemic era.

This chapter offers an insightful exploration into the burgeoning field of eco-tourism, focusing on the expectations and motivations of tourists gravitating towards green destinations. Eco-tourism, while not a novel concept, has seen a significant resurgence in interest over the past few decades, with its roots tracing back to the wildlife reserves of Kenya in the 1960s. The narrative then transitions to an in-depth examination of what constitutes a green destination, emphasizing its foundational pillars, such as environmental conservation, sustainable tourism practices, active community engagement, educational initiatives, and the pursuit of certifications that affirm their commitment to sustainability. A central theme of the chapter is the nuanced expectations of eco-tourists who are increasingly seeking destinations that not only offer the tranquillity and beauty of nature but also adhere to sustainability principles and cultural authenticity. These expectations are intricately linked to the motivations driving tourists towards green destinations, including the desire to connect with nature, contribute to conservation efforts, and engage in travel practices that are both responsible and enriching. By weaving together theoretical insights and empirical evidence, the chapter provides a comprehensive understanding of the dynamic interplay between the demand for green destinations and the supply of sustainable tourism experiences, ultimately highlighting the critical role of eco-tourism in paving the way for a more sustainable and ethical travel industry.

Artificial intelligence (AI) supports increased efficiency in different sectors. AI is among various sectors' most innovative and measurable solutions. AI has revolutionized new ideas in our daily lives, such as the Internet of things, the Internet of people and the sharing economy. Like other sectors, the tourism sector is one of the sectors affected by AI, where different intelligent systems are used in travel agencies and transport companies. In addition, technological breakthroughs are expected to increase in the tourism sector, leading to a rearrangement of the technological revolution in the tourism sector. We hope that the process of technological progress in the field of tourism is constantly advancing and cannot be stopped. Accordingly, we came to the following question: How can adaptation be made to the progress brought by AI to the tourism sector? The continuous technological advancement in the tourism sector is expected to lead to the end of human civilization, especially since technological machines have become more intelligent than humans.

Abstract
After COVID-19, the tourism industry has been reshaped through a cycle of intertwined crises. So, the tourism industry has been the scene of discussions on how to proceed against vulnerabilities and uncertainties in recent years. Destinations have begun to think differently in terms of competitive advantage in order to survive. Therefore, the success of the tourism industry needs a change in mindset in order to keep up with the transformation accelerated by COVID-19. Regenerative tourism has triggered the search for a different mindset beyond sustainable tourism efforts by addressing responsibility and creativity together. As a result of these searches, regenerative tourism reveals a philosophical perspective as a mindset. Most of the studies on regenerative tourism contain conceptual clarification efforts. However, there is a need for a macro evaluation of regenerative tourism management on a destination basis. This chapter discusses the design of an appropriate policy and planning for the management of regenerative tourism. Regenerative tourism emphasizes a conscious intervention in the tourism industry with its creativity and innovative and responsible characteristics. This intervention can be evaluated within the scope of destination policy and planning for solving the problems about standardization and commercialization. Thus, it will conceptually be tried to put forward a planning and policymaking process that is suitable for regenerative tourism.

In modern tourism, what is expected are natural beauties, tourism facilities and activities that can meet tourists' desires and expectations. In order for all of these to materialize, sustainability is necessary for tourists, the environment, the destination and the tourism supply. Fulfilling all of these requirements relies on the stakeholders fulfilling their responsibilities within the destination.
Therefore, the subject of this study is to focus on the expectations and motivations that lead tourists to visit a destination, along with the attractiveness of the destination itself, and the concept of responsible tourism. The study will explore the expectations and motivating factors that lead tourists to visit a destination, the creativity of the destination and the overall concept of responsible tourism in a comprehensive manner.
