Abstract
This chapter examines the relationship between destination image and loyalty, and empirically determines the constructs that may influence tourist satisfaction with heritage tourism, which ultimately influences destination loyalty. Using data collected in the cultural heritage sites of Shiraz, Iran, it employs structural equation modeling for analysis. Evidence from the study results indicates that heritage tourists’ perception of destination image has a positive effect on their satisfaction and revisit intentions. This analysis provides insights into the behavioral intentions which may serve as an appropriate basis to boost tourist visits and revisits to a heritage destination.

Abstract
Rivalry among conference centers has greatly increased in the past few years. It is thus important to adequately comprehend the critical characteristics of conferences, including those associated with their facilities and services. This chapter explores the impacts of conference quality and perceived value on attendees’ behavior in Malaysia. A questionnaire was administered to international attendees of nine academic association conventions held in Malaysia in 2016. Partial least squares structural equation modeling was applied to the collected data using Smart-PLS software. Results capture the positive impacts of service quality and perceived value on behavioral intention. Delegate perspectives regarding the significance of some facilities and services are further appraised.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to investigate how a local trade union improves living conditions for women entrepreneurs in India and how its activities have evolved over time.
Design/methodology/approach
The authors conducted a longitudinal case study of the self-employed women’s association (SEWA) in India. Founded in 1972, this organization fosters and supports women’s entrepreneurship. The approach of this study combines qualitative face-to-face interviews and secondary data analysis.
Findings
The findings highlight the fact that SEWA, which combines the features of a trade union and a social movement, improves women’s conditions in several different ways. The study shows that the organization’s main role has evolved from creating a community to expanding it and finally to becoming an agent of societal change.
Originality/value
The study contributes to the literature by analyzing how locally grown organizations fight social exclusion and improve the conditions of deprived groups in emerging economies.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the relationship between weight status and food environments, peer influence and dietary intake among high-school students in Shiraz, Iran.
Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the relationship between weight status and food environments, peer influence and dietary intake among high-school students in Shiraz, Iran.
Design/methodology/approach
Applying a case-control design, 406 adolescents (n = 203 overweight or obese and n = 203 normal weight) aged 14–18 years were selected using a multistage cluster random sampling method. Demographic information, physical activity level and anthropometric indices were collected. Dietary intake was determined using a 147-item food frequency questionnaire. Food environment (home and out of home) and peer influence were determined by a validated questionnaire.
Findings
The type of food purchased using pocket money was different between adolescents with overweight or obesity and normal weight adolescents (p < 0.001). The out-of-home food environment score was not different between groups, but the home food environment score (p = 0.004) and the peer influence score (p = 0.001) were higher in normal weight adolescents. Adolescents with overweight or obesity consumed higher amounts of carbohydrate (p = 0.006) and lower amounts of protein (p = 0.01) and more sweet junk foods (p = 0.01), nonstarchy vegetables (p = 0.03) and fruits (p = 0.01) compared to the normal weight group.
Originality/value
Home food environment, peer influence, differences in macronutrient intake and dietary patterns may be contributing factors to adolescent weight status.

Abstract
Purpose
In recent years, the use of high performing materials, and application of additive manufacturing technology for industrial production has witnessed a steady rise and its expanse is only to increase in the future. “Selective laser melting (SLM) technique” for an exotic nickel-titanium (NiTi) shape memory alloy (SMA) is expected to a great facilitator to research in this area. The purpose of this paper is to put forth the research direction of NiTi shape memory alloy by selective laser melting.
Design/methodology/approach
This review also summaries and skims out the information on process equipment, adopted methodologies/strategies, effects of process parameters on important responses e.g. microstructure and comprehensive functional and mechanical properties of SLM-NiTi. In particular, the functional characteristics (i.e. shape memory effects and super-elasticity behavior), process analysis and application status are discussed.
Findings
Current progresses and challenges in fabricating NiTi-SMA of SLM technology are presented.
Practical implications
This review is a useful tool for professional and researchers with an interest in the field of SLM of NiTi-SMA.
Originality/value
This review provides a comprehensive review of the publications related to the SLM techniques of NiTi-SMA while highlighting current challenges and methods of solving them.
