Abstract
In an educational era focused on expectations related to program accreditation, academic integrity is paramount to program success and credibility. Because Internet-based learning is not limited to geographical or political lines drawn on a map, there is a certain amount of ambiguity regarding the application of regulations and laws governing online learning and how they are enforced. Managing the financial and accreditation needs of institutions with authentic and appropriate methods of teaching, learning, and assessment is a precarious balance – one in which the potential for misbehaving online can quickly tip the scales to the side of questioning the credibility of online learning and misusing power in terms of data privacy. Wendy Kraglund-Gauthier and David Young explore the issue of how online students misbehave when being tested at a distance, what technological challenges emerge when verifying the identity of online students, and issues of privacy. They also include a comparison of methods used to confirm the identity of online students. In light of the inherent challenges that emerge alongside the demand for more technology-based screening tools and devices, Kraglund-Gauthier and Young question whether solutions lie in competence-based assessment for learning, rather than a reliance on surveillance. They argue that in spite of stakeholders' best efforts and best intentions, legislation directed at ensuring online privacy is fraught with potential challenges.

Abstract
This chapter introduces electroencephalography (EEG), a measure of neurophysiological activity, as a critical method for investigating individual and team decision-making and cognition. EEG is a useful tool for expanding the theoretical and research horizons in organizational cognitive neuroscience, with a lower financial cost and higher portability than other neuroimaging methods (e.g., functional magnetic resonance imaging). This chapter briefly reviews past work that has applied cognitive neuroscience methods to investigate cognitive processes and outcomes. The focus is on describing contemporary EEG measures that reflect individual cognition and compare them to complementary measures in the field of psychology and management. The authors discuss how neurobiological measures of cognition relate to and may predict both individual cognitive performance and team cognitive performance (decision-making). This chapter aims to assist scholars in the field of managerial and organizational cognition in understanding the complementarity between psychological and neurophysiological methods, and how they may be combined to develop new hypotheses in the intersection of these research fields.

The multimedia data also provide incredible open door for the multimedia computing in the big data centric as a functioning disciplinary research field. As per current technological usage in terms of Internet or smart devices, the data manipulate in the form of digital. Massive multimedia data have been produced in the different forms like text, image, video, and audio which is shared among vast number of people. The multimedia data are real-time unstructured, heterogeneous, and multimodal. It has vast scope to mine model, learn, and analyze the service provided by multimedia. Of course, some primarily level challenges need to be addressed like analysis, storage, retrieval, and data processing. The most complicated thing in multimedia big data (MMBD) analytics is that the computer cannot understand higher level of semantics. The quality of experience (QoE) is the most evolving part of MMBD which are directly intended with storage and performance. MMBD are highly resource intensive. They often require dedicated processing capabilities in terms of graphical processing unit (GPU). An advance-level storage-related mechanism is also needed for efficient parallel processing, transmission, and presentation. Generally, non-multimedia data are always forming in text which is normally understood by machine. The multimedia data always in the form of videos are easily understood by human compared to textual data, but it is more complex task to make it understandable to machines. The MMBD performs the task by converting the human language to computer language in an efficient manner. This chapter is also introducing salient features of MMBD. The main aim of this chapter is to cover the fundamentals for MMBD computing and feasibility study. The chapter explores the technical problems and challenges to be addressed. It also focuses on methodologies and approaches that are available from the perspectives of MMBD computing life cycle. The chapter may be beneficial for the readers to understand the features, importance and application of MMBD.

Abstract
Purpose — To provide a theoretical background to understand current local search engines as an aspect of specialized search, and understand the data sources and used technologies.
Design/methodology/approach — Selected local search engines are examined and compared toward their use of geographic information retrieval (GIR) technologies, data sources, available entity information, processing, and interfaces. An introduction to the field of GIR is given and its use in the selected systems is discussed.
Findings — All selected commercial local search engines utilize GIR technology in varying degrees for information preparation and presentation. It is also starting to be used in regular Web search. However, major differences can be found between the different search engines.
Research limitations/implications — This study is not exhaustive and only uses informal comparisons without definitive ranking. Due to the unavailability of hard data, informed guesses were made based on available public interfaces and literature.
Practical implications — A source of background information for understanding the results of local search engines, their provenance, and their potential.
Originality/value — An overview of GIR technology in the context of commercial search engines integrates research efforts and commercial systems and helps to understand both sides better.

Abstract
Strategy scholars have widely recognized the central role that narratives play in the construction of organizational identities. Moreover, storytelling is an important strategic asset that firms can leverage to inspire employees, excite investors and engage customers' attention. This chapter illustrates how advancements in computational linguistic may offer opportunities to analyze the stylistic elements that make a story more convincing. Specifically, we use a topic model to examine how narrative conventionality influences the performance of 78,758 craftsmen selling their handmade items in the digital marketplace of Etsy. Our findings provide empirical evidence that effective narratives display enough conventional features to align with audience expectations, yet preserve some uniqueness to pique audience interest. By elucidating our approach, we hope to stimulate further research at the interface of style, language and strategy.
