Connecting bars

Connecting bars

At the Oracle Apps World Conference, held at the ExCel Conference Centre London, England, the Loftware/Oracle Connector generated significant interest. The Loftware/Oracle Connector is a new connectivity module which eliminates complicated programming tasks and allows Oracle application developers to quickly connect Oracle applications (8i and above) to corporate back-end bar code label printing systems. The Connector takes just minutes to implement and features built-in scalability. Simplifying what was commonly considered (even among programmers) to be a complex task, this enterprise feature proved to be a real success with show attendees.

Used in conjunction with Loftware's enterprise solution, it is easy to perform all label printing tasks across LAN/WAN, Internet and wireless networks. Invoking a Java Object, the database application immediately pushes the label data to the Loftware Enterprise Print Server (LPSe). Once the LPSe receives the data, bar code labels are quickly routed and printed to any attached network Windows or thermal transfer bar code printer.
